SSC CGL Application 2020: Alert for candidates desiring government jobs in Group B and Group C posts in various central government ministries and departments. The process of application for 6506 vacancies in these ministries and departments is going to end soon. Recruitment for these posts is to be done by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) through the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination, 2020, for which the last date of application is 31 January 2021. The application process is completely online and interested candidates can apply on the official website of the Commission, ssc.nic.in till 11.30 pm. After registering the first phase of the application process till the last date, the candidates will have time till 2 February to submit the application fee. You can pay application fees online. However, if you want to submit offline then February 4 is the last date.
How to apply
The application process for SSC CGL can be completed in three stages – registration, application fee payment, and application submission. Candidates can first go to the registration page by clicking on the link of ‘New User – Sign-up’ in the login section on the home page of the Commission’s website, where they can register by filling in their Aadhaar number and other sought details. After this, candidates can login with the help of the allotted registration number and password. After this, the candidates can submit their application for the CGL Exam 2020 by paying the prescribed application fee.

Candidates for more than six thousand government jobs advertised by the Staff Selection Commission are selected through a four-stage process (Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 and Tier 4). In Tier 1 and Tier 2, questions of alternative nature are asked from different subjects. Successful candidates in these stages have to appear in the written test in the next stage Tier 3. It consists of detailed answer questions in English and Hindi. The final stage is computer proficiency test/data entry skills test in Tier 4.
