Classes are being run from the beginning of January to complete the syllabus at school level and guide students in all states in view of the annual examinations of senior classes for the year 2021-21 and the 10th and 12th board examinations. In this episode, the Delhi government also gave permission for the schools in the capital to be opened today, from 18 January 2021. The government has allowed the students to call for preparation of pre-board exam and practical exam in 10th and 12th classes in schools. Along with this, several instructions regarding the opening of schools were also issued by the Delhi Government.
Instructions for Delhi schools
1-Students must bring written consent from their parents.
2-Schools will not hold classes for more than 4-5 hours.
3-Washrooms will not be able to visit more than two students at once.
4-The students will have to provide guidance related to the exam by the schools.
5-Time-table will have to be made for pre-board and practical preparation.
6-Students have to be guided for the new pattern and syllabus of CBSE.
7-The sample paper released by CBSE will have to be studied by students.
8-All the staff along with the students will have to keep masks on campus.
9-Only 12-15 students will sit in a class. Students will be called in batches.
10-Handwash and sanitizer will have to be provided in schools.
11-Online classes will continue as before.
12-It would be optional for students to attend guidance classes in schools.
Schools opening in Rajasthan from today, instructions issued
Like Delhi, in Rajasthan, the state government had given permission to open schools for senior classes – students from 9th to 12th, according to which schools will be opened from today. State Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasara informed that it will be mandatory to follow the rules related to corona in schools. The IAS, state PCS officers, and officers of the education department of various districts will visit schools to observe the adherence to SOP.
Residential schools of Jharkhand will also open from today
On the other hand, the state government of Jharkhand has given permission to open more than 260 all residential schools located in the state from today, 18 January 2021 on Sunday. These schools include Netrahat Residential School, Kasturba Gandhi Girls School, Indira Gandhi Residential School. In these schools, students of class 10th and 12th have been allowed to go. The schools have to follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) issued by the Jharkhand Education Project Council (JEPC).
