UPSEE (UPTU Entrance Exam) Result 2016

Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) is a public university in the state of Uttar Pradesh which is set up by the Government of Uttar Pradesh on May 8, 2000. UPTU have changed his name into Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. The main aim of this university is to mainly reduce the workload and to ensure proper management. In the year 2013 as the new government came into power this university was again formed by combining Gautam Buddha Technical University and Mahamaya Technical University on January 5, 2013.

The UPSEE Result 2016 will be announced once the examinations are successfully conducted. The university is affiliated in nature and is considered to be one of the largest technical universities not only in India but perhaps in Asia. Because of its huge size and the number of colleges affiliated to it and geographic dispersion the university is specifically sub-divided into five zones with 45–50 colleges in each zone for the ease of management and facilitating inter-zonal comparison and possible internal competition to enhance quality of teaching-learning processes.

The university is intended to enable and cultivate quality technical education and research in its own premises as well as all affiliated institutions. In all there are 49 affiliated colleges in 2000. The university conducts its central examinations for each semester and for all the affiliated colleges and institutions and the results for the same are declared using technology-enabled systems. In the present scenario around 150,000 students will be enrolled in its programmers and the medium of instruction in the university and the examination is English.

The university offers various undergraduate courses which help the students to shape their respective careers. And some of them are in engineering, architecture, hotel management and catering technology, fashion and apparel design, andpharmacy, leading to degrees of B.Tech, B.Arch, BHMCT, BFAD, and B.Pharma respectively. The university has also provided postgraduate courses to the students such as computer applications and business administration leading to degrees of MCA, MBA and MBA (Rural Development).

The university in the present scenario is now following the new format which comprise of two papers. The syllabus of the examination is mainly based on topics covered by the UP Board, CBSE Board Examination (AISSCE) and the ISC Board Examination, though all topics of the AISSCE and the ISC are not included in the JEE syllabus. The pattern of questions in the exam is almost fixed. Currently, the examination has objective type question paper for all the subjects and uses machine readable OMR answer sheets. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
